The Pittman Course: Flight & Critical Care Paramedic Review

This two-day, 20-hour course, developed by the late Corey Pittman, is designed to assist students preparing for their FP-C^®, CCP-C^®, CFRN^® and CTRN^® examinations, and as a review for current FP-C^®/CCP-C^® certification holders. 

The Association is a strong supporter of the IBSC and BCEN certifications and we are honored to be awarded the privilege of offering The Pittman course.  Corey Pittman was a well-known certified flight paramedic from North Carolina and a nationally-recognized educator/speaker whose review course yielded one of the highest first time pass rates in the nation.  In 2016, Corey's sudden and untimely death stunned the industry and devastated his wife and two young children.  A portion of the proceeds from every course goes to the Pittman family and additional proceeds will be used to fund The Corey Pittman Scholarship Fund.

Carefully selected instructors will walk students through advanced critical care concepts and patient management principles.  They build upon fundamental knowledge, working from years of experience illustrating key points with practical examples.

A comprehensive course handbook is provided to students on the first day of class.

Early Bird Registration Fees:   $250 (IAFCCP/ASTNA Member rate)       $350 (Non-member rate)  

Registration Fee after March 14, 2023:  $300 (I-CAPP/ASTNA Member rate)    $400 (Non-member rate)

Transportation: Recommended - Denver's Metro train runs to/from DEN to Union Station for only $10.  The Hilton is a 10 min walk from Union Station or there is a free trolley with a drop-off at the Hilton and other area hotels.  Hotel shuttle service is not provided to/from airport.

CANCELLATION OR CHANGE POLICY:  All cancellations or changes must be received in writing at m.newman@flightparamedic.org.  Cancellations received more than 45 days before the course date will receive a full refund of the course fee minus a $25 fee for administration.  Cancellations 30 to 45 days from the course will receive a 75% refund of the course fee.  Cancellations received 15 to 30 days from the course will receive a 50% refund of the course fee.  Any cancellations received less than 15 days from the course date will not receive a refund.  Any transfers from one course to another course, or changes from one person to another in the same program will be accepted with an administration fee of $25 per change.
